Workplace Wellness Programs

Our workplace wellness programs are facilitated by two legal professionals/mindfulness instructors who understand the stresses of the modern workplace and the difficulties of balancing work and family life. 

 

Participants are introduced to practical, accessible practices that will help them live calmer, more present lives.

 

We offer a range of programs, ranging from one-hour workshops to multi-week courses.

Some of the programs we offer are set out below, or we are happy to work with you to design a workshop or course that will work for you and your colleagues and/or clients.

Mindfulness Workshops and Courses

Introduction to Mindfulness

One Hour Workshop

This one-hour workshop will discuss what mindfulness is and its benefits and dispel some of the myths that surround the practice. 

Participants will be introduced to some short, accessible practices that are easy to incorporate into everyday life.

Introduction to Mindfulness

90 Minute Workshop

This 90-minute workshop explores the same subjects as our one-hour workshop, but also includes a discussion of the biological underpinnings of stress management and resilience and allows time for more practices and more extensive participant interaction and discussion.

Mindfulness Tools for the Workplace

Four Week Course

An experiential course that introduces participants to mindfulness "tools" that can be incorporated into their daily lives.

Sessions will be held once a week

and can be one hour or 90 minutes each.

Working and Living Mindfully

Eight Week Course

An intensive, experiential course that provides participants with the opportunity to learn and fully integrate mindfulness practices into their lives.

Sessions will be held once a week

and can be one hour, 90 minutes or 2 hours each.

The course can be followed by an optional half-day mini-retreat.

 

Compassion Workshops

  • Self-Compassion

    One Hour Workshop

    This one-hour workshop will discuss the harsh inner critic we all have, explain the benefits of and dispel some of the myths about self-compassion.

    Participants will experience practical, accessible practices that they can incorporate into everyday life.

  • Self-Compassion

    90 Minute Workshop

    This 90-minute workshop explores the same subjects as our one-hour workshop, but includes a more fulsome discussion of the biological underpinnings of stress management and resilience, slightly longer practices and more extensive participant interaction and discussion.

  • Finding Compassion for Difficult People

    1 Hour Workshop

    You are a kind and loving person. You love your family and your friends. You are  kind to strangers.  However, there is always at least one person in your life that just rubs you the wrong way.

    While this workshop does not promise that you will end up loving this person/people, you will come away with some practices to help you feel a sense of compassion for and bring more patience and kindness to your interactions with them.

  • Resilience in Difficult Times

    One Hour Workshop

    This one-hour workshop will introduce participants to concepts and practices that will help them meet life's ups and downs with more equanimity, be kinder to themselves and recover more effectively from difficult events.

  • Resilience in Difficult Times

    90 Minute Workshop

    This 90-minute workshop explores the same subjects as our one-hour workshop, but includes additional practices and time for more extensive participant interaction and discussion.

  • Cultivating Resilience

    Four Week Course

    This four-week course will allow participants to learn, practice and integrate skills into their lives that will help them manage life's ups and downs skillfully.

Body Awareness, Yoga and Movement Programs

Mindfulness of the Body

One Hour Workshop

This one-hour workshop will discuss how being mindful of the body can help us live more effectively in the present moment, regulate our emotions and live healthier, calmer lives.

Participants will be introduced to practices that will help them become more aware of and take better care of the body.

Mindfulness of the Body

90 Minute Workshop

This 90-minute workshop explores the same subjects as our one-hour workshop, but includes additional practices and time for more extensive participant interaction and discussion.

 

Introduction to Yoga

90 Minute Workshop

​This 90-minute workshop will go through the basic yoga poses and sequences, such as downward dog, the warrior poses and sun salutations. 

After the workshop, participants should be comfortable attending almost any yoga class out there.

Desk Yoga

One Hour Workshop

This one-hour workshop will introduce participants to poses, stretches and movements they can do without leaving their desks.  By the end of the workshop, participants will recognize that a stretch break can be even better than a coffee break.

Mindfulness in Motion

One Hour Workshop

Yes, you can be mindful even if you can't sit still!

 

This workshop asks participants bring their full attention to the sensations that arise in their bodies while performing gentle movements.​

Private Yoga Sessions

Any Length

Enjoy private yoga sessions designed specifically for your staff and/clients.

The sessions can range from the very restful to the more energetic.

Can be held as a one-off session or a series of sessions.

 

Mini-Retreat

Treat your staff and/or clients to a full- or half-day mini-retreat tailored to your needs.
