Course Description
Classes will consist of a mixture of energizing and restful poses, ending with relaxation (savasana). The intensity of the class can be modified to suit different levels of ability. Modifications will be offered for most poses and participants are encouraged to listen to their bodies, be aware of their limitations and work only to the level of their ability. Thursdays 7:30-8:30 p.m. January 22-March 12 8 Weeks: $200 Once you have registered, you will receive payment instructions. Payment must be received before spot in class is secured. This class will be taught by Andrea Chow. Andrea has been practicing hatha yoga since 2009 and astanga yoga since 2011. Arriving with a lifelong habit of having an occupied mind, Andrea immediately appreciated the gift of awareness of both body and mind that yoga offers. She also values yoga’s philosophical teaching of compassion equally for the self and for all other living beings. As a teacher, Andrea encourages students to explore and nurture their own sense of movement, safety, stability, and curiosity.
