Relax and Renew Retreat
Times & Location
About the Class
The retreat will be a daytime retreat, with all activities held outdoors in a physically-distanced way.
While the retreat programs will only take place in the daytime, if you wish to stay overnight, you can book through Gaia’s bed and breakfast service. You could stay on the Friday night or Saturday night, or make a full weekend of it by staying both nights! Gaia offers a number of overnight options, including cabins and lodge rooms or camping.
We have access to the Gaia grounds as of 8 a.m. Retreat programming will not start until 10 a.m., but if you are an early bird, you are welcome to arrive anytime from 8 a.m. onward. Coffee and tea are always available and you could even bring a picnic breakfast to enjoy on the beautiful grounds.
A vegetarian lunch will be included. Gaia is able to accommodate many different dietary requests so long as they have 2-week’s-notice.
Dinner will not be included but can be purchased from Gaia for $20.
Our access to the grounds ends at 6 p.m. Programming will be done by 5 p.m. This will allow everyone time to enjoy their dinner and/or some extra free time on the grounds until 6.
10:00-10:30 a.m.: Arrival, Orientation & Introductions
10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: Outdoor Hatha Yoga
12:00-1:00 p.m.: Lunch (Mindful Eating)
1:00-2:30 p.m.: Mindful Forest Walk

Please note that the schedule may have to chance slightly if anything unplanned, such as rain, arises.
All activities can proceed even if it rains. If it looks like there is a possibility of rain, please bring an umbrella, raincoat and rain boots (and rain pants if you have them). Up to six people at a time can do yoga on Gaia’s covered porch, so I could tweak the schedule a bit so that only six people would be doing yoga at a time.
